Its thick, waxy leaves edged in creamy white and soft pink look almost artificial — but they're completely real and stay stunning year-round. With the right care and enough light, it produces clusters of small, star-shaped flowers with a sweet fragrance that some say smells like chocolate, vanilla, or caramel.

Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings — Hoya stores moisture in its thick leaves, so less is always more. Water more frequently in spring and summer and reduce in cooler months.
