care

Sweet viburnum tolerates most soil types. It prefers direct sun; however, it can handle some dappled shade.  Dig the hole for the rootball about twice as wide as it is deep. This will encourage the roots to spread.  This variety of viburnum produces gorgeous bunches of sweet-smelling flowers in the spring, making it a perfect pollinator plant. Once established, the plant is moderately drought tolerant. Fertilize three times a year, starting in the spring.  Use a well-balanced, all-purpose granular fertilizer.
