care

This plant likes fertile soil with plenty of organic matter. It appreciates consistent moisture, but it does not enjoy soaking wet soil for prolonged periods.  Fertilize this beauty with a well-balanced fertilizer. Keep the plant tidy by clipping off leaves that are yellowing and spent blooms. This plant will multiply easily so keep an eye on it. Cut back any unwanted plantlets that appear. Plant the stromanthe at least 6 feet away from the home, since it tends to get rather large and can become unruly if not pruned regularly.
