plant tips

  • water

Drought tolerant once established — water during the hottest and driest periods for best performance. Always water at the roots and avoid wetting the foliage.

  • light

Full sun lover — needs at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for the most abundant blooms. Too little light leads to fewer flowers.

  • zone

    9a-11.

  • mature size

    Approx. 120" W × 120" H

care

Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny spot — it adapts to almost any soil type including sandy and poor soils. Water regularly until established, then reduce to as needed. Prune in early spring to control size and shape, removing suckers at the base to keep the plant looking neat. Always wear gloves when handling and avoid burning any trimmings.
