Copperleaf plants love direct sunlight for about 6 to 8 hours a day.High light will trigger the plant to produce colorful foliage.  When planting, select a location with good drainage and fertile soil, amend the soil if necessary with organic matter such as peat or cow manure.  This plant is best suited for zones 10 and above since it is cold-sensitive.  If planted in zone 9, protect it during cold snaps.
